Welcome to our 'Meet the Team' series.
This week, we're thrilled to introduce Adam Törnqvist, our new Business Development Manager, who joined Fiberdom from north of Stockholm 🇸🇪
with a career that reads like a roadmap of Nordic packaging innovation.
From Brand Owner to Fiber Pioneer
Adam's journey within packaging started at Marabou (later Mondelez), and he’s spent decades as a technical project manager developing packaging and sourcing packaging across the Nordics and Europe. It was ten years ago when he made a pivotal shift from the brand owner side to the mill side—first at Billerud, then at Holmen—diving deep into 3D fiber forming technologies.
It was at Holmen, working on wet molding, dry molding, and press forming projects, that Adam first encountered Fiberdom's technology. His reaction?
"I got so excited about the innovation that I knew
this is what I wanted to focus on."
Here's what caught the attention of someone who's seen every fiber innovation attempt over three decades: Fiberdom's process makes fiber-based products genuinely cost-competitive with rigid plastics while outperforming other fiber alternatives in strength, bending resistance, and moisture resistance.
For Adam, this isn't just a job change—it's a mission.
"I'm eager to do whatever is needed to reduce the
amount of plastics in the world—and Fiberdom's technology
is the right opportunity to make that happen."
Now at Fiberdom, he’s connecting OEMs and converters to our plastic-free alternative that delivers both performance and economics.
What excites us most about Adam joining the team? His warm personality for sure…not to mention his deep industry relationships, his practical understanding of what works (and what doesn't) in fiber innovation, and his genuine belief that Fiberdom's approach can be the breakthrough the industry has been waiting for.
Welcome to the team, Adam!🌟
